About Showgest

Showgest is a film discovery application that allows users to browse, explore, and discover movies currently playing in theaters and popular titles. The App is provided free of charge and does not require any account registration.

Use of the App

You agree to use Showgest only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App
• Use any automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access content through the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Showgest

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within Showgest — including the Showgest name, logo, and interface — are the intellectual property of Showgest and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Film data, images, and metadata are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) and remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Showgest does not claim ownership over any third-party content.

Third-Party Content & Services

Showgest uses third-party services including TMDB and Google Firebase. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Showgest is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these third-party services.

Film information displayed in the App is sourced from TMDB and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Showgest makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of this content.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, you consent to receiving app-related alerts and updates. You may withdraw this consent at any time through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Showgest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Showgest or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

App Store Terms

Your download and use of Showgest via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is also subject to the respective platform's terms of service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and the applicable App Store terms, the App Store terms shall govern solely with respect to platform-specific matters.
